Philippe de Richoufftz
Philippe de Richoufftz began in the litigation department of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Paris in 1998.
In 2003, he joined Gide law firm in Casablanca as senior associate and then as local partner as from 2008. During his eight years of practice in Morocco, Philippe was the legal counsel of private investors or Moroccan state entities in the draft and negotiation of project documents relating to port infrastructures (concession of container terminals), electricity (wind and solar farms), rail (high speed train between Tangier and Kenitra), industrial complexes, tourist or agricultural (irrigation) infrastructures.
He returned to France between 2011 and 2018, first in the Project Finance department of Allen & Overy in Paris, where he acted as legal advisor of investors in energy PPPs and in the port sector in Africa, then as partner of the firm Adamas, also in Paris, where he developed arbitration relating to Moroccan investments and advised investors in North Africa and sub-Saharan Africa, especially in the energy sector.
In 2018, he joined his German colleagues from Alexander & Partner in Berlin to support the African activity of this firm and provided legal advice to German investors in Africa in health, electricity production and production of green hydrogen.
As of July 1, 2023, he is partner of LEXT AARPI to develop the firm's activity in Africa.
