LEXT is pleased to announce the promotion of Pauline Coune as a partner in the Energy Department and the Africa, Maghreb and Middle East Practice which she will co-head alongside Philippe de Richoufftz, effective 1 January 2026. Bilingual in German, Pauline will also strengthen the firm's practice dedicated to German-speaking clients, created and led by Marie-Liesse Emo-Brioist.
A member of the Paris Bar since 2014, and with 12 years of experience gained in leading business law firms in Paris and Berlin, Pauline has developed significant expertise in both advisory and litigation matters, assisting her French and international clients in the implementation of their various industrial projects, whether in Europe, the Maghreb or sub-Saharan Africa.

Before joining Lext Avocats, Kammal was associate in public business law at Ernst & Young. He also completed several internships with the international arbitration and project/infrastructure teams of several law firms in Casablanca, Frankfurt, Brussels and Paris.

LEXT (Paris office) is pleased to announce the arrival of Philippe de Richoufftz (Partner) and Pauline Coune (Associate).
Philippe de Richoufftz and Pauline Coune have joined LEXT AARPI respectively as partner and associate on July 1st, 2023.
Philippe will develop LEXT foreign clientele in France and in Africa. He will rest on his experience in Morocco, where he practiced from 2003 to 2011 as local partner in Gide's Casablanca office, in France as partner in Adamas in charge of the business in North and West Africa, and in Germany, where he was a partner in Alexander & Partner's Berlin office dedicated to Africa from 2018 to 2023. He will also benefit from the specific skills of his partners in M&A, litigation, intellectual property and new technologies, and employment law.
Pauline Coune, a senior associate with ten years' experience in projects in France, North and West Africa, will assist him in advisory, litigation and arbitration matters. She assists small and large companies in the energy and industrial sectors, as well as in the events and aircraft maintenance sectors.
